Six members participated on a day of service on Friday, April 4th at the West End House Boys and Girls Club of Allston-Brighton. They helped clean, move furniture, paint and otherwise prepare the building for a large fundraising project the next day (April 5th--approximately 300 people attended that function, by the way, which was highly successful.)  This is the first time our club has participated in the Day of Service Projects, and we are indebted to Lieutenant Governor, John Hoffman, for encouraging us to go forward with this.

Kiwanis Club of Fairfield, CT
Thank you very much to those of you who spent your Saturday morning with us cleaning up Carter Henry Drive that "butts up" ( and did we see butts - cigarette butts all over!!) to the Train tracks.

There is POWER IN NUMBERS.....What we accomplished together will never be forgotten.  We had people coming up to us thank us for all that we were doing.

A woman who is a Public Health consultant stopped her car, got out, and said,"This is great.  I am planning to organize a town clean up, and this is just what I picture it to be."  We should all be extremely proud of the time we dedicated to clean up the street and add to the CURBSIDE APPEAL of our town's train station.
